On December 7 2018 I gave a concert with my ensemble in Fedja Klikovac’s Islington gallery, one of the smallest venues in which I have performed (the smallest was St Nicholas Chapel, St Ives – The Island Chapel – which could only house 9 people, including the 3 performers). With a great deal of careful space management we were able to have an audience of around 50 people, plus four musicians, into the gallery, which is essentially the opened-up rooms of a good size London town house.
It was a lovely occasion.
The programme included the first performance of Added Time, a piece written for the occasion, as well as a special 12 minute performance of Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet.
