Recorded live at the Opéra de Lyon in November 2021, this album presents Gavin Bryars' chamber opera The Collected Works of Billy the Kid, an 11-song narrative with a libretto by Michael Ondaatje that traces the legendary outlaw's life to his death. The performance features the acclaimed soprano Claron McFadden and French singer-songwriter Bertrand Belin in the principal roles, accompanied by a six-piece ensemble drawn from Les Percussions Claviers de Lyon.
