Recorded during performances at ABC Radio Studio 520 in Adelaide in 2015, this album presents Gavin Bryars' chamber opera Marilyn Forever, set on the night of Marilyn Monroe's death, with a libretto by Marilyn Bowering. The performance features soprano Anne Grimm as Marilyn, baritone Richard Morris in the multiple roles of "The Men," the Tritones as a two-voice chorus, and the Aventa Ensemble conducted by Bill Linwood, with Gavin Bryars joining the on-stage jazz trio on double bass.
