Description
Requiem in ten movements for full orchestra, chorus and 4 soloists (soprano, mezzo, tenor, baritone) Composed for the ballet by David Dawson, commissioned by the Dutch National Ballet
The score was planned very carefully in such a way that each of the ten movements has a separate and quite distinct orchestration and combination of voices. In fact this was the first decision that I made once I had decided on the movements themselves. I list here, firstly, the full range of instruments available for the work followed by the scoring for each movement.
