Viola Concerto

I have a commission to write a 30 minute viola concerto for Morgan Goff, who has been in my ensemble for 18 years. This was originally planned to be performed at the Dark Mofo Festival in Hobart, June 2020, with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, which I was to conduct. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the festival was cancelled this year and plans to resume in 2021. But the commission goes ahead and I will finish it as planned…
